Theater Lab Kids after school showcases the ideas of students with one overall objective - produce original plays using the individual and collective group creativity to inspire a short play (between 12-25 minutes) with settings, conflicts, props, costumes, and characters.

Additionally, instruction is provided in areas of movement, vocal projection and warm ups, valuing creative ideas through teamwork, and being a good audience.

We also practice improvisation and acting exercises, expressing emotional response, inflection/projection, theater games, prop construction, as well as touch on costume, set, and makeup designs.

On the final scheduled day of the session (usually 4:45PM), casts will perform their original script in front of a live audience. Students are challenged to be playwrights, producers, and performers in this class while learning life skills and HAVING FUN!

If a campus exceeds 16 students we will add another class to expand enrollment and create 2 performances.

Students are asked to pull build costumes from their closets or provide base layers.

It’s ooey and gooey and oh so much fun! What kid doesn’t love to get messy as they create with clay? The children will use a variety of tools and techniques to make owls,
monsters, bowls and much, much more. Making a mess may be the best, but working with clay is really cool too!

Join our exciting after-school program, "Coding with Spike Prime," designed to ignite curiosity and foster a love for coding and robotics among students. Using the LEGO® Education SPIKE™ Prime Set, participants will embark on a journey of discovery and creativity, learning essential STEM skills in a fun and interactive environment.

The Junior Brick Masters STEM Class is an engaging, hands-on program designed for young minds to explore the exciting world of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) through creative building with LEGO® bricks. This class aims to inspire curiosity, foster creativity, and develop problem-solving skills in a fun and collaborative environment.

At Coding With A Twist, we are committed to inspiring the next generation of innovators and problem-solvers through our engaging and interactive STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) programs. Our After-School STEM Programs are designed to ignite a passion for learning and exploration in students, all while having fun along the way. At Coding With A Twist, we believe that learning should be an exciting adventure. We’ve designed our STEM programs with a unique twist, making them both educational and entertaining.

Our program immerses children in the Spanish language through a play-based and targeted play approach, focusing on conversational skills development and cultural awareness. Your child is invited to join our amazing age 6-and-under program, "Little Geniuses!" This chess class specifically developmentally targets our 4-6 year-old's with puppet shows, fast chess clocks, playing chess for mardi-gras beads, collecting 22 colorful silicone wristbands, zany movies, hilarious songs, fun chess tourneys, 27 different chess games and activities, and a great, fun spirit that introduces kids to chess. Kids enrolled will gain problem-solving ability and academic confidence each week!
