The Knight School is the chess program for the well-rounded kids of America who are good at multiple things! Kids are central to everything we do, and everything is oriented toward them. Your child is invited to join our amazing age 6-and-under program, "Little Geniuses!" This chess class specifically developmentally targets our 4-6 year-old's with puppet shows, fast chess clocks, playing chess for mardi-gras beads, collecting 22 colorful silicone wristbands, zany movies, hilarious songs, fun chess tourneys, 27 different chess games and activities, and a great, fun spirit that introduces kids to chess. Kids enrolled will gain problem-solving ability and academic confidence each week!

Theater Lab Kids after school showcases the ideas of students with one overall objective - produce original plays using the individual and collective group creativity to inspire a short play (between 12-25 minutes) with settings, conflicts, props, costumes, and characters.

Additionally, instruction is provided in areas of movement, vocal projection and warm ups, valuing creative ideas through teamwork, and being a good audience.

We also practice improvisation and acting exercises, expressing emotional response, inflection/projection, theater games, prop construction, as well as touch on costume, set, and makeup designs.

On the final scheduled day of the session (usually 4:45PM), casts will perform their original script in front of a live audience. Students are challenged to be playwrights, producers, and performers in this class while learning life skills and HAVING FUN!

Select Kinder students may be added to rosters after enrollments are evaluated to see if we can accomodate.

If a campus exceeds 16 students we will likely add another class to expand enrollment and create 2 performances.

Soo Bahk Do is a traditional martial arts style. Martial arts helps to build foundational skills that last a lifetime. Not only is it fun and enjoyable, it also imparts discipline and responsibility.

Coach Mercer's Soccer Performance Plan combines age-appropriate training, games, and challenges friends to copy or beat your tricks. Therefore, kids have a clear understanding of how to maximize their potential. The program consists of a 30-minute skill training session followed by a soccer game where the kids can demonstrate what they have learned. Children are also taught to make decisions, solve problems, and communicate effectively to reach their goals.

The Coach Mercer Sports Performance class introduces students to a variety of sports including basketball, flag football, volleyball, softball/baseball, and fitness to improve physical skills and abilities. In each sport, children will learn the rules and practice specific skills. A certified Sports Performance Skills coach instructs each class. A controlled competitive game will be played at the end of each class.

We’ll learn to draw a wacky llama, and we’ll sculpt and paint a box full of delicious-looking donuts. Parents, you’ll need to make space on the fridge and the mantle for these amazing works of art!

LG1: Our golf classes are held right after school in the school gymnasium or field. This class teaches beginners the fundamentals of golf, such as holding the club, alignment, posture, stance, short game, and full swing. Our goal is to teach your child the proper fundamentals of the game. Also discussed are the differences between irons and woods, putting, pitching, chipping, and sand play. LG2:Using the school gymnasium or field, our golf classes are held right after school. Each level consists of five areas of development: FUNdamentals, understanding the Rules, Golf Etiquette and Manners (GEMs), and Golf IQ. Designed to give beginner golfers an understanding of the core fundamentals of golf such as holding the club, alignment, posture, stance, short game, and full-swing skills. Exposing our scholars to thought-provoking STEM activities at an early age today sets a foundation for higher learning tomorrow. iCan STEM is an after-school program that includes the following disciplines: life sciences, physical sciences, engineering, mathematics, computer science, social skills, and health sciences. A beginner's tennis lesson focuses on the fundamentals of the game and the basics of tennis rules. Making tennis easier for new players and young kids by creating ideas that will help them succeed immediately. Developing self-esteem and character in children is enhanced by learning a new skill.
